The convention we are handling this Dec for 2008 is the ADULTCON.
The Adultcon has been in existence for more than 6 years and has grown into a powerful expo to cater to the world of pornography and products and entertainment of an adult nature. Held twice a year in Los Angeles at the LA Convention Center, this convention brings at least 10,000 people to 15,000 people through the doors over a 3 day stretch and has managed to sustain quite substantial profits for so many of its clientele and exhibitors over the span of the life of this show. Bringing at least 80 to 100 pornstars alone each show, the fans and general public save their money to come to Adultcon to spend on all the fun and entertainment, not to mention all the new products and services brought to the show by the exhibitors.
The convention even has casino chips funded by the founders of the expo that give each customer a free $5 to spend in the room on the stars and exhibitors. This is an advantage to you as the exhibitor as you can collect them as money and trade them in for cold hard cash at the end of each event day. That’s a minimum of $50,000 injected into the room not counting the funds the patrons already bring to the show. They also have several ATMs located in the lobby and throughout the convention floor.
This convention also gives more valuable freebies at the door to the patrons of this event and also gives items away to encourage entry and use of ATM machines during show hours. This helps encourage further spending.
